Vava saw an opportunity to collaborate with Jake Green to Humanize the Coffee narrative through in-depth stories, photographic portraits, essays and other media. Through these efforts collectively we hope it will be a step forward in highlighting and celebrating amazing projects and businesses that are steered by indigenous people in Coffee producing countries but hardly get noticed due to a lack of documentation and appropriate storytelling.

Both professionals realised they were passionate about similar aspects in the Coffee industry -stemming from each of their separate works - Coffee Milk Blood by Vava and Kunywa Jasho Langu by Jake Green. They both felt strongly that photography and film would go a long way in crystallising important moments and steps during this project.
